top 10 of 2009
- havent gotten round to hearing some of those albums especially castro's and robert crays but i have 3 of these albums in my top 10 1. Shemekia Copeland - Never Going Back (truly brilliant album packed with some great songs from 'never going back' to 'circumstances' to 'broken world') 2.Joe Bonamassa - Ballad of John Henry (Even better than Sloe Gin and absolutely shocked it's not on your list) 3.Joe Louis Walker - Between A Rock And The Blues (Can't stop listening to 'I'm Tide') 4. Corey Harris - Blu.Black 5. Gwyn Ashton - Two Man Blues Army (Never heard of this guy until 5 weeks ago and now have all his albums. Every single one is great) 6.Tinsley Ells - Speak No Evil 7.Joanne Shaw Taylor - White Sugar (A female UK blues guitarist from near where i'm from has to be on this list) 8.Ana Popovic - Blind For Love (Doesnt have the bluesy feel to her previous albums but anything this sexy woman does is just awesome) 9.Rick Estrin & The Nightcats - Twisted 10.Candye Kane - Superhero
