Todays's hottest electric guitar players owe much of their freedom to Big Joe Williams. His hard-banging style was taken from country Blues acoustic players and transferred to the electric guitar. He played a unique nine string guitar and was legendary for playing every kind of party and venue imaginable. Big Joe passed in 1982.
