Definition:

Slide Guitar: A style of guitar playing that uses a glass or metal tube, or even an animal bone, to slide up and down the strings, creating variable pitches; also known as "bottleneck." Some well-known blues slide guitarists include Elmore James, Earl Hooker, and Robert Johnson.
