Parchman Farm

Definition:

Parchman Farm: Infamous Mississippi prison farm that is part of the maximum security Mississippi State Penitentiary. Built in 1901, the facility has hosted several blues artists, including Son House, Bukka White, and Leadbelly; Elvis Presley's father Vernon also served at Parchman.
