The Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise just keeps on rollin' with a high-powered line-up of blues, R&B, blues-rock, roots-rock, and soul artists entertaining cruisers into the wee hours of the morning. Although the October 2009 cruise of the Pacific is currently sold out, you can get your name on a waiting list in case a coveted spot comes open. In the meantime, it's not too early to take a look at the January 2010 Caribbean cruise.

The Legendary Rhythm & Blues 2010 Caribbean Cruise

The Legendary Rhythm & Blues Caribbean cruise will take place from January 23rd - 30th, 2010. Launching from Fort Lauderdale, Florida the ship will hit Aruba, Curacao, and Half Moon Bay before returning home. The week-long cruise promises a "festival atmosphere" with autograph sessions, over 70 scheduled shows, and nightly jam sessions among the performers.

Among the talent confirmed for the Caribbean cruise is blues legend Taj Mahal, performing with the Phantom Blues Band, appearing along with the following performers:

  • Keb Mo'
  • Kenny Neal & the Neal Family
  • Ruthie Foster
  • Guy Davis
  • Curtis Salgado's Big Band
  • Joe Louis Walker
  • Super Chikan
  • The Mannish Boys
  • Jason Ricci & New Blood

For fans of electric-blues and blues-rock, the cruise will also feature a stellar line-up of guitarist talent, including:

Additionally, the cruise will feature the Legendary Rhythm & Blues Revue, an all-star jam session featuring Tommy Castro, Deanna Bogart, Magic Dick, and Kenny Neal. Several "legendary" surprise guests will also be appearing during the cruise.

Bluesin' 2009 Pacific Cruise

The Bluesin' Pacific Cruise will occur from October 17th - 24th, 2009. Striking out from San Diego, California the cruise will hit Mazatlan, La Paz, and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Performers on the cruise will include the Tommy Castro Band, blues-rock guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Susan Tedeschi, Elvin Bishop, Australian blues guitar sensation Fiona Boyes, and Rod Piazza, among many others. A waiting list is available if you want to take a shot at getting a place on the boat.
