2013 Blues Blast Music Awards

Voting in the 2013 Blues Blast Music Awards opened July 15th on the Blues Blast magazine website, and closed on August 31st, 2013. Voting each year is open to all Blues Blast subscribers. Voters in the awards choose their favorite blues artists and albums from among ten different categories, and the winners were be announced on October 31, 2013 at a ceremony held at Buddy Guy's Legends club in Chicago.

Last year, blues fans in all 50 states and 75 countries voted online for the 2012 Blues Blast Music Awards, choosing favorites like Janiva Magness, Tab Benoit, and Mud Morganfield as winners. We have the full list of 2012 winners available elsewhere on the site.

Blues Blast Music Award nominees are chosen by the magazine's staff and a board of music writers, managers, musicians, and other industry professionals.
