A Real Blues Brother:
Matt "Guitar" Murphy is most famous as the hen-pecked guitar player in the movie The Blues Brothers. In the real Blues world, Matt worked with Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Sonny Boy Williamson, and Memphis Slim. His light, jazzy picking style moaned the Blues, and has unfortunately been ignored by modern players who prefer a more thrashing rock sound.
