Most modern Rock music can be directly traced to the Blues, but few artist ever acknowlege this fact. Guitarist Eric Clapton is a rare exception. He has always professed his devotion to the Blues and has become somewhat of an historian of Blue music. Practicing what he preaches, Clapton has released several Blues records and continues his study of the groove.
