The son of the King of Zydeco Clifton Chenier, C.J. Chenier played with his father for years. After Clifton's passing, he picked up the accordion to carry on his father's mission to bring Zydeco to the world. C.J. has taken that accordion and pushed the genre to new heights with his virtuosity. He also inherited his father's legendary band, "The Red-Hot Louisiana Band".
