The Blues are history. This past week's PBS TV series was as good as will get for Blues fans. It was by far the most comprehensive look at Blues music ever aired and may become a classic like Ken Burn's Civil War series. There were some hokey moments in some of the re-enactments and some Blues giants were missing, but Martin Scorcese only had a week. The Blues takes a lifetime.
