Blues Festivals This Week

Sept 1 - 7, 2003

By Reverend Keith A. Gordon, About.com

Don't want the summer Blues festival season to end? Well you're not alone. The parties are still crankin' and the groove is still flowin' across the country. This weekend the Dirty South calls home the Blues with festivals in an historic North Carolina ball park, behind a roadhouse juke joint in a Georgia field, beside a beautiful beach, and on the streets of an Ozark town. The weather is still great, the groove is still deep, the season ain't over just yet.
