The Blues, Warming by the Devil's Fire
The Blues has reached the half-way point, but there is plenty of groove to go. Tonight, director Charles Burnett brings us Warming by the Devil's Fire, a story about living with the Blues in the 1950's. Tonights performers; Big Bill Broonzy, Reverend Gary Davis, Willie Dixon, Lightnin' Hopkins, Son House, Mississippi John Hurt, Bessie Smith, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Dinah Washington, Muddy Waters, and Sonny Boy Williamson.
