September 05, 2003Who Should Portray Robert Johnson?I've always assumed P. Diddy had tall props for the Blues. It's just that I've never really associated this New York artist/producer with a Chicaco shuffle. That will all change this fall when HBO heads down to Mississippi to start filming Love In Vain, a film about the life of Robert Johnson. Also headin' to the crossroads is Hip-hop titan Sean "Puff Daddy/P. Diddy" Combs, tapped to play the enigmatic Blues Master. Time to play casting director.
