The votes have been cast and the polls closed at the end of August. All that's left is for the winners of the 2009 Blues Blast Music Awards to be named…which will happen on Thursday night, October 29th, 2009 at Buddy Guy's Legends club in Chicago.
Several performers have already been confirmed for this year's Blues Blast Music Awards, including award nominees Kenny Neal, Albert Castiglia, Nick Moss & The Flip Tops, John Primer, Eden Brent, and many more.
The awards are sponsored by Blues Blast Magazine, a free Internet blues magazine currently enjoyed by some 13,000 blues music lovers in all 50 states and across the globe in over 60 countries. Nominees were chosen by blues music industry insiders in eight categories and voted on by thousands of fans worldwide.
Tickets are available online at the highly-reasonable price of $25, check with the Blues Blast Magazine website for availability and the announcement of additional awards night performers...and check back here at the end of October for a list of the winners!
