Tommy Castro, The Legendary Rhythm & Blues Revue On The Road!
It seems like the only time that the Tommy Castro Band takes time off the road is to record a new album, and 2009 is certainly no different. Freshly signed to the legendary Alligator Records label, Castro and his crew have been working on their debut for the label, the album due to be released later this year. In the meantime, still working from the buzz of his Blues Music Award winning 2007 album Painkiller, Castro is taking his incendiary blues-rock sound on the road for much of the rest of the year.
Lucky fans in better than a dozen cities will get to catch Castro and The Legendary Rhythm & Blues Revue stop by to tear up a local club or festival stage. With the Tommy Castro Band providing necessary musical support, The Legendary Rhythm & Blues Revue includes the blazing harpwork of the one-and-only Magic Dick, the houserockin' fretwork of blues guitarist Ronnie Baker Brooks, and the vocals and piano of the lovely and talented Deanna Bogart.
Whether Castro is performing with his band, or as part of the larger ensemble, you owe it to yourself not to miss these hurricane-force blues when it they blow through your town!
