2008 Blues Blast Music Awards Winners

The readers of Blues Blast magazine, a free weekly Internet blues music magazine published by Illinois Blues, have voted and chosen the winners in the publication's first annual Blues Blast Music Awards.
Over 11,000 readers from all 50 states and 40 other countries voted online for this year's winners, which included Chicago blues legends Guy and Koko Taylor and harpist John Nemeth. See who else scored a 2008 Blues Blast Music Award.

I wanted to send my love and a special thanks to all that voted for me for the “Best Female Blues Artist”. I especially felt honored to be nominated along side the living legend and Queen of the Blues…Ms. KoKo Taylor. Boy! what an honor. To all the other nominees, let’s keep the Blues Alive!
