2008 Blues Hall of Fame Inductees

The Blues Foundation has announced its 2008 selections for induction into the Blues Hall of Fame, with the induction ceremony to be held at the organization's Charter Member Dinner the night before the 2008 Blues Music Awards on May 8th, 2008. Entry into the Blues Hall of Fame immortalizes an artist's lifetime of work, whereas having a recording chosen by the institution also recognizes an artist's creative achievements.
